Fat Penguin Bunting Help

Lay fabric over heavy tear away stabilizer. Sew the main penguin outline.

sew the face and beak. If you have fabric with a pile, lay some water soluble stabilizer first ,to stop the stitches sinking into the fuzz.

Sew tummy colour and the letter.

Tear away the water soluble stabilizer. For stubborn bits use a wet cloth.

The back should look like this.

Tape matching fabric to the back

For a Satin edge, sew outline again, and trim to outline.

For a pinked edge, leave trimming till you have finished the whole penguin  with pinking sheers.

Trim the back too,for the satin edge finish

Sew the final satin outline and eyelet holes.

For pinked edge, pop fron hoop and trim with pinking sheers.

For satin edge, pop from the hoop and trim any stray threads.
