Make in the hoop luggage Tag
I travel back and forth from the UK a lot to care for my 90 year old Mum. I
have the standard black suit case that everyone has, and a red carry-all. A
year or two ago I embroidered myself a luggage tag, with a Union Jack one
side and the Canadian flag on the other. My cases are instantly recognizable
now and easy to spot. I have digitized these to make in the hoop.
They would make a good little gift.
Hoop your fabric, I
used old tee-shirt. Allow enough to fold under for the
back. Use heavy cut away stabilizer, to give a sturdy tag .
Sew the outline and
the flag of choice, and add the name using your machine's own
Fold the excess fabric underneath your hoop.
Sew the zigzag stitch outline and eyelet, and remove from
hoop. Trim close to zigzag outline.
Back of Tag.
Being a dual citizen, I
fused a Canadian flag on the back too!
