Samplers and primitives are a reminder of a
simpler time. They exude warmth and
simplicity. Of course the painstakingly hand
sewn variety are best, but these machine
sewn ones come a pretty good second when
sewn on tea dyed muslin, and framed in a
standard 5"x7" frame that has been painted in
colonial colours, or black, and roughed up a
bit. They are perfect to run up as a little
gift,or for church or event fund raisers. A
5x7 Hoop is needed.
