Happy New Year!

We are celebrating  New Year twice this year, as we are both from the UK. Once with some friends at the Pub, where we celebrate British New Year at 7pm with a glass of champagne, and a view of the celebrations in London .UK(my home town). Then we go home and phone or Skype our children and UK family.THEN we sit down to a slap up meal of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding,(kindly prepared for us in the meantime) and English trifle for dessert.

Tomorrow we diet!

This was custom designed to include a line from a special song.It is a combination of machine embroidery and hand embroidery on natural linen.

These keepsakes make ideal wedding gifts,and your ideas can be accommodated at minimal cost.We do not frame the keepsake to keep the shipping costs down.Unless they are custom designed ,they are made to fit a standard size frame available anywhere.

This shabby is  a rose printed on a transfer sheet,then ironed onto on tea dyed taffeta, and embroidered with the blank inspirational rose quilt pattern.   Another Birth Sampler. Single design this time.

I made these with my grandaughter for her 'Tween' birthday party.The girls are too old for loot bags, so we made them a door hanger each. We used a heart from the 'Hearts Desire' collection,and True Type Font 'Blackadder".Sewed a button on the top, and tied a co-ordinating ribbon to it for hanging.
